Do you ever feel like you’re not doing enough but don’t know how to help the world at large? It’s not an uncommon feeling and we know that time can often fly by and life gets busy. However, just one night of your life can truly help make change happen. That’s why we want to partner up with you! Our documentary, Women Like Us. Three Journeys. One Mission. To Save the World is being screened across the nation and we need motivated women like you to host!
Women Like Us: Three Journeys. One Mission. To Change the World follows three women on a journey of profound exploration. It is an official selection of the Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival. The film tells of their travels, personal journeys of adversity and evolution, and the unthinkable social injustices women around the world face. The film features many powerful moments and talks with women warriors such as Ida Odinga, former First Lady of Kenya and Caroline Barnett, cofounder of the Los Angeles Dream center. Brought to you by award-winning multimedia journalist Catt Sadler, activist, author and Women Like Us founder Linda Rendleman, and producer Sally Colon-Petree. This is your call to action! Rise to the occasion and help spread awareness to your friends, family, and colleagues. It is an evening that teaches and inspires. It is a time to find your voice and begin to confront the injustices as well as promote equality for all.
One night can truly make an impact in the quest for global change. The more you know, the more you can do! Remember: Our stories are singular…our passions are shared.
