March is Women’s History Month. Women’s historical achievements should be celebrated every month since overall impact women had and still have on society are enormous. Women are still fighting for their rights on a global level. There are more sings of acknowledgement and respect towards our rights as women than there were fifty years ago and that is a reason to celebrate this month even more. Check out some of the best ways you can celebrate women during Women’s Month.

Attend a Women’s Networking Event

Whatever professional industry you’re in, this month is an excellent for attending women’s events, workshops and conferences. These events help female professionals to support and empower each other, share knowledge and arrange mentorships.

Many conference also have round tables where industry-specific challenges for women are addressed, with a view to making workplaces more female inclusive. We’re sure you’ll find an event that interests you in your city and that you’ll use the knowledge gained for great cause.

Do Something Kind for a Woman You Love

Whether it’s your mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, girlfriend, or a female friend, celebrate this month by giving and sharing love.

Send flowers, write a card, give a small gift, or take them out for a dinner or a movie. The most important thing during Women’s Month is that we all show our gratitude and love for the women around us so be sure to bring smile to your favorite woman’s face.

Donate to Women - centered Causes

Why not celebrate Women’s Month by making a donation to your local women’s refuge center? You can also donate to your favorite women’s cause or charity. Make it a yearly custom to donate women in need during Women’s Month. Find a cause that matters to you, whether it's preventing violence against women or promoting women's independence, donate whatever you can and encourage others in your community to do the same. Read These Compelling Books by Women

Celebrating Women’s Month doesn’t have to involve big political or public gestures. You can do it in your own way just by reading some of the great books about honorable and memorable females of our time. If you don’t feel like reading something about women, read something by a woman. J. K. Rowling, Emily Brontë, Virginia Woolf or Alice Walker all made waves as excellent female authors.

There are so many other ways that you can celebrate and help other women globally, not just during March but through the whole year.
