CMS Mentoring Program

Through generous donations and corporate sponsors in our community, WLUH is able to provide valuable resources to the underprivileged children of Los Angeles' Unified School District. Specifically, WLUH has launched an opportune mentorship program for children grades 6-8 at Castro Middle School. Additionally, for the past two school years, WLUH has donated school supplies to more than 100 students. Statistically, half of these children will not graduate. What WLUH strives for is simple: to provide these children with the resources and means to blossom into confident young adults, possessing the tools needed to achieve their dreams. Though this is the program's first year, WLUH has already made strides. It is our hope to have the means necessary to implement this program in numerous LAUSD schools.
