Women Like Us Hollywood

 

Catt Sadler

President and Founder

Catt Sadler is one of the hosts of the hit show E! News on E! Entertainment Television, seen around the world in more than 140 countries each day. She is an Emmy award-winning journalist with more than 10 years experience in broadcasting and the Founder and President of Love Bug Entertainment, Inc. Sadler is also the official brand champion for OWN, a new all-natural skin care company. As the international spokesperson for the WLU Foundation and Co-President of the newly formed Hollywood chapter, she stays busy… but never too busy for her two sons! Austin is 10 and Arion is 6. Sadler graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Spanish.

Xochitl Medina

Vice President and Founder

Xochitl Medina is a graduate of the University of Southern California. Her many years of experience working in the fashion industry for acclaimed companies such as: American Apparel, Ed Hardy bags and launching her own junior contemporary menswear line (XOCHI), has provided Medina with the leadership, planning, and mentoring skills needed to make this foundation thrive. Xochitl is dedicated to empower at risk children through the Women Like Us Mentoring Program. Her ultimate goal is to reach out to as many kids throughout the Los Angeles School District and provide them with resources to continue their education. 

Dorian Valencia

Dorian Valencia de Villaseñor was born in Celaya Guanajuato, Mx. Her parents always instilled in her family values and hard work. In 2006, Dorian was elected to the Executive Board of TDC Corporation. As the only women on the Executive Board, Dorian demonstrated her leadership skills by assisting on the opening of several restaurants during her tenure. Dorian also sits of on USC Mexican American Alumni Association Dinner Committee. In 2009, Dorian was awarded the Mujer Excelencia Empresearial Award (Woman of the year) by the Regional Hispanic Institute. Dorian also enjoys fashion and has three dogs.

Erika Rojas

Erika has several years of experience in the field of Immigration law. Erika has represented indigent immigrant clients. She has also worked on behalf of the U.S government while working at the U.S. Immigration court by assisting various judges appearing before the Court in deportation/removal proceedings.  She received her B.A. in International Relations from USC, where she mentored students in the Teaching International Relations Program and the Joint Educational Project. While at ‘SC, she attended the Washington DC Semester Program, where she interned at the U.S. Department of Justice and Office of Legislative Affairs under the direction of the former U.S. Attorney General, Janet Reno. Erika went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Cal Western School of Law, where she participated in the CLEO program, was a member of the La Raza Law Student Association and International Law Society. By dedicating over 100 hours to low income clients in the San Diego community, she earned membership into the Pro Bono Honors Society. Erika is also a recipient of an American Jurisprudence award in Immigration law.

Jaclyn Gross

Jaclyn's true passion in life is volunteering. Having volunteered with various non-profit organizations in her community since the age of fifteen, Jaclyn is extremely experienced and eager to make a difference. Fresh off an internship in which Jaclyn founded a youth group, mentoring young girls is something Jaclyn knows very well. She serves as both intern and secretary for WLUH. Jaclyn is finishing a Behavioral Science degree with a minor in Family Studies at California State University, Northridge. She then hopes to complete a PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Southern California.

Tanya Nazarian

Tanya is working to complete a degree in Journalism. Having volunteered since the age of fifteen, Tanya believes that her true purpose in life is to help those in need. Tanya is extremely passionate about the entertainment business, and hopes to work in entertainment journalism one day. Tanya serves as intern extraordinare for Women Like Us Hollywood, overseeing all social network/media outlets and so much more!
