I am so grateful to take a weekend off to catch up some computer work, emails and all the things that I can't seem to get done during the week.

As the emails were getting sorted and put into their rightful email files it occurred to me once again, how quickly Kids4aCause shot into action.

This would not have been possible without the tremendous support of The Women Like Us Foundation team.  Sally, Linda, Yo, Melinda...the list is indeed long.  TV Interviews, Newspaper articles and our first Fundraising event happened in a very short period of time.  Yes, it's been a whirl wind, and we at Kids4aCause sometimes wondered, is this the norm?  I can assure you, that this is not the norm!

The good news is that we are just beginning our small Chapter under The Women Like Us Foundation.  It could not have happened without this organization.  Thousands of lives have already been save.  That is powerful, yet we can't do it alone.

Kids4aCause will once again be partnering with Fountains Of Hope to raise funds for clean water on a more global level.

Thank you all for the wonderful, heartfelt support.  Kids can make things happen with the support of their family and friends.

The Hike4Haiti turned out to be a wonderful exhibit of kids helping other kids.  Kids4aCause held it's first fundraising event on August 6, 2011 which managed to raise over $5,000.00 to be put towards a water drilling rig to be transported to Haiti.  My son Keaton, who inspired the vision of kids helping kids, appreared on a couple local news channels as well as the local news paper.  Exciting stuff for a 12 year old!

I'm proud of all the kids that got involved with the Hike and made it successful.  Alex, Zach, Will, Grant, Jack, Liam, Ethan, and many more....Thank you for supporting this cause and making a difference in the lives of many people in Haiti.

We're looking forward to our next fund raising event.
