Friends of Linawo Children’s Home

Friends of Linawo Children’s Home is a group of Americans supporting Linawo Children’s Home in Cape Town, South Africa. We are doing this by working closely with committed South Africans to give financial and volunteer support to the Home.

Friends of Linawo Children’s Home is a chapter of the Women Like Us Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to helping women and children in need around the world.

Mission and Goals of Friends of Linawo Children’s Home

Our primary mission is to support Linawo Children’s Home in its efforts to provide for the varied needs of the children in its care.

Goals of Friends of Linawo Children’s Home include:

  • Providing a means for American supporters to contribute financially toward the ongoing needs of Linawo Children’s Home through tax-deductible donations.
  • Providing a means for American supporters to join trips to South Africa to volunteer at Linawo Children’s Home.
  • Providing a means for past volunteers to Linawo Children’s Home to remain connected to the Home and to share their experiences with others.
