Our accomodations in beautiful Kenya will allow you plenty of relaxation time and rest.  These photos are of the place we will be staying on Lake Victoria.  It only holds 20 guests...the food is top rate and the scenery...well, see for yourself.

Rusinga Island Lodge is a gated community just steps away from the Noel School.

We also stay in very nice tented camp lodges in the Masai Mara.  Bathroom and showers right in the floored tent.

Most days, safari is early morning and early evening.  Bring your camera...it is a breathtaking experience. And traveling in our open top vans of 6 per van, the countryside and the people of Kenya are just as beautiful.

Women Like Us Foundation will be traveling to Kenya again in June of 2017.  We will be visiting the Olmalaika Home for girls who are victims of Female Genital Mulilation; the school of over 200 orphans N A Noel School; and Victorious Teens as we continue the sustainability mission for these projects.

Both men and women are invited on our cultural immersion travel projects.

-  Visit the Olmalaika Home where we are greeted by the beautiful girls who live there...They are victims of Female Genital Mutilation and are seeking a new life.  We'll spend the day with them- volunteering, getting to know them, helping them with their tasks...assessing needs.

- Visit Noel School where we will be greeted by 150 children eager to be with us, share with us, dance for us and spend time in the classroom with us.  Our project this year is to help them build and plant a garden and become self-sustainable.

Education is key...

-  Visit Victorious Teens Bridge International where we are welcomed by teens eager for education and resources for a better life.  We'll be greeted with love.  In the past, Women Like Us has provided sanitary pads for girls and funds for workshops and trips to businesses for future employment resources.  Many of these children had seen very few, if any, Americans before Women Like Us adopted them as one of our causes.
