Joy Donnell is a media entrepreneur and creative activist driven by the power of voice. Her vision is to create media that increases humanity. Her PR expertise touches all of her work as she brings that insight to content strategy, content creation, media distribution and luxury branding. She has helped with strategy and implementation of PR and content campaigns for Warner Bros., Rolls-Royce, The Africa Channel and many other multinational entities.
Joy has spent several years fighting violence against women and girls through work with V Day Santa Monica and V Day West LA. She has worked to combat sex trafficking and youth homelessness through The Carissa Project. She’s a strong supporter of female-led initiatives, especially in the realm of entrepreneurship.
As an international speaker, Joy shares insight on branding, multi-platform content strategy and public image. Joy recently guest lectured at UCLA’s School of Film, Television and Digital Media on that very subject matter. She also speaks about the role diversity plays in securing true positive, ethical luxury fashion and brand awareness.
Joy is Co-Founder and CEO of Parajin Media Corp and Editor-in-Chief of its flagship fashion lifestyle publication, Vanichi Magazine. Her work with Vanichi highlights rising luxury brands that are the epitome of conscious supply chains and help build economy as well as gender parity. Raquel started her first company at age 22. She teamed up with a couple of college classmates in her graphic design class and started a website design company. Her first clients were her dad www.mrspcb.com (who is still a client today) and her cousin, who at the time was a professional ultimate fighter, “Bobby the Pit Bull Gamboa.” Today, her company has grown into a full-service branding agency that focuses on showcasing companies’ brands through social media platforms.
A deep sense of community lies in Raquel’s heart. She has spent several years on the board of the American Advertising Federation and the American Marketing Association Raquel has fundraised for local non-profits, planning and coordinating events for Surfrider and Olive Crest Kids Foundations for six consecutive years overall, raising over $100,000 for these organizations.
Raquel also conducts the interviews, though also finds the interviewees, some of which have been Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, Rob Zombie, Doyle ex-member of the Misfits, Eddie Trunk of That Metal Show and Brian Slagel, CEO of Metal Blade Records. Through her musical journey, this rock journalist has not forgotten her roots. She is still your go-to girl for anything PR, creating a hype for your brand, through her own consulting company, RPR Agency.
LIZZA MONET MORALES
Lizza Monet Morales, aka @xoxolizza, is an actor, tv host and content creator in both English and Spanish. She has leveraged her love of travel, tech, fashion, cars, and inspirational messages to create a global social media fan-base (LoveBug Nation) while becoming one of the top Latinas in entertainment media.
In 2016, she won the TECLA Award for Best Live Broadcaster, which was the first award ever given to a live streamer by any award show. She won once again in 2017. Alegeria magazine named Lizza one of the “20 Most Influential Latinos and Latinas of 2016.” And she was was nominated for the 2017 SHORTY Awards as Periscoper Of The Year. Most recently, she co-wrote Latina Empowerment Through Leadership and became a best-selling author after hitting number one in three different categories. As a sought-out speaker, she mines her years as an entertainer and entrepreneur and combines them with her infectious, positive, go-getter attitude, to empower, educate and entertain audiences around the world.
She has worked with clients such as The GRAMMYs, Microsoft, Nike, Ford, Red Bull, Sears, AT&T, NASCAR, Formulae and CoverGirl among others. She has been featured on The Conan O’Brien Show, CNN and NPR. Anna Nova, a Los Angeles-based entrepreneur and event producer, immigrated to the United States 15 years ago from Russia. After leaving corporate positions in the public relations, marketing, and business development, she launched her event production business.
Anna is especially passionate about spirituality, conscious awareness, and self-empowerment; however, it wasn’t until losing her mother to stage 4 cancer that she began pursuing a spiritual path. The implementation of Kundalini yoga as well as working with spiritual practitioners and meditation experts created a major shift in her life. Today, Anna applies spirituality to everything that she does—including the events she produces. The development of conscious-awareness events to impart joy and benefits into others’ lives is both a niche and passion.
From conscious awareness events, to women’s empowerment, to self-development seminars targeted to entrepreneurs, to bridal and fashion shows, Anna’s end goal is to spread positivity and knowledge.
Anna is excited to partner with the Women Like Us Foundation because she believes women are more powerful as a connected community and she hopes to become a trusted source of support and guidance for women on a global scale.
As a publicist, licensed real estate agent, wardrobe stylist, and actress, Jessica Ross possesses experience in both the business and entertainment worlds. Jessica developed an interest for public relations and marketing at an early age, and decided to pursue the fields during college where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. As a publicist where she has secured many prominent media placements including Entertainment Tonight, Forbes, TMZ, and TV Guide. Present and former clients include actors, TV shows, CEO’s, fine artists, directors, authors, psychologists, musicians, luxury homes, independent films, and fashion brands.
Her extensive wardrobe styling experience ranges from personal shopping to photo shoots and red carpet events. She has been featured on several outlets such as CBS.com and FrumFash, editorials she worked on have made the covers of Veux and Stardust magazines.
Currently, in addition to public relations, Jessica is the LA Correspondent for Live In Style Magazine and one of the lead cast members of Fashion Dolls premiering Fall 2017 on the Fashion One network. She also hosts a live show on WCOBM. Before that, she was a supporting actress in several independent films including the winner of Best Ensemble Cast at the Los Angeles Film Festival.
In her free moments, Jessica is an Ambassador for the Women Like Us Foundation as well as The Nylon Project and enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, fashion, or getting out in nature. MORE
When Daisi was introduced to the Women Like Us Foundation, she knew immediately she had to get involved. As a model and beauty queen who began traveling around the world with little supervision at a very young age she knows first-hand how deep the issue of sex trafficking goes. From living in modeling apartments to being exposed to the dark side of the industry, Daisi began vocalizing her concern for the protection and support of her peers from the beginning.
Daisi is a celebrated beauty queen (Miss Jamaica International 2005), model and business woman. Philanthropy has always been a natural fit to use her pageant platforms to influence audiences about issues she is passionate about. Daisi has gained international recognition from the likes of the Governor General of Jamaica, the Mayor of Kingston, the Jamaican Minister of Education, the Jamaica Tourist Board, the Mayor of Bohol, Philippines and many others for her work in literacy, education, environmentalism, and immunization advocacy.
In 2012, Daisi was named an Honorary Co-Chairwoman of the "Give Kids A Shot" Gala for the National Meningitis Association in which she commissioned the “Meningitis Statement Dress” for auction. From 2012-2014, Daisi was Chairwoman of the Meningitis Foundation of America.
Daisi joins the Women Like Us Foundation to help further their mission to end sex trafficking, homelessness and empower women through economic stability, leadership, and education. MORE
Kerry Schwartz was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Raised by a single mother alongside her sister, she never imagined being able to achieve her dreams, instead finding herself bullied and incredibly lonely. To survive, Kerry did what many people in a similar position do: stayed focused, hustled, and immersed herself in her work. This was the case all the way through college, where Kerry studied broadcast journalism at Kings-Borough College. Shortly after she graduated, she became the Audience Producer for WPIX 11’s “The Bill Cunningham Show.” While working for WPIX, she launched her own show—“Getting Comfy with Kerry,” and began conducting creative, one of a kind celebrity interviews. This show was the catalyst for a massive transition in her life. Soon after, Kerry took a leap of faith and booked a one-way ticket to California, never looking back. It was the scariest and best decision of her life.
Kerry lives for making people smile, and strives to make people feel great about themselves. Her most recent project was aimed at making women feel comfortable in their own skin, and features women from multiple backgrounds and ages. Her most memorable achievement, however, is when she volunteered at a children’s orphanage in Haiti. There she lived with children for two weeks, teaching them dance, sports, and arts and crafts. Also a 9/11 survivor, Kerry understands what it means to overcome adversity, trauma, and hardship. For that reason, a partnership with the Women Like US Foundation is entirely the right fit and what she lives for. She hopes to empower women to find their strength, and support the foundation’s initiatives. Kerry strives to spread the word that we must give faith a fighting chance every single day. MORE
Pamela Quinzi is an Italian-born fashion designer, born and raised in Rome, Italy, and began her fashion career in Milan. She has designed extensively for the upper echelons of the fashion industry. From developing women’s clothing and accessories for the Shane Collection, and Fiorucci Accessories Collection and additionally worked on a beachwear brand for Carla Di Vope—Bain De Minuit. Working alongside acclaimed designer Rossana Buriassi, she designed collaborations with leading luxury lines such as Armani Prive, Dolce e Gabanna, and Fiona Swarovski. Pamela later relocated to New York City to work for Gustto Inc., as a handbags and accessories designer. Since her arrival, Pamela has come to be known as the “Cinderella of New York,” a name that grew buzzworthy and inspired her blog, Cinderella of New York.
In May 2012, Pamela officially launched her new brand KILAME designed by Pamela Quinzi. The label featured one-of-a-kind shoes and couture concept dresses. In 2016, Pamela celebrated her first Kilame fashion show in Los Angeles, and has attended red carpet events as their celebrity fashion designer. Her shoes were the most photographed shoes at the Oscars 2017 and on the red carpet with actress Biana Blanco. Other celebrities who have donned Kilame shoes include, Susan Sarandon, Bai Ling, Vanessa Simmons, Fox 11’s Christine Devine, and many more. In addition to working as a designer, Pamela is also the fashion editor of the Italian Luxury Magazine LiveIn Style, and has created her own online media website, Waves and Runways, to cover major events and fashion shows around the world. A storyteller since childhood, Nadya worked as a professional actor and a freelance journalist before pivoting to digital marketing and business development. Today, Nadya has her own digital marketing agency and additionally has launched an online social media school, The Social Media Storytelling Academy. She also is a columnist for Honeysuckle Magazine, where she interviews entrepreneurs on the impact they’re making in the world. To date, Nadya has worked with clients ranging from startups, to nationally recognized law firms, to nonprofits (including Women Like Us Foundation), to entertainers and more. She has additionally partnered with several influential social media campaigns, including the The Nylon Project’s fashion initiative “#Itcanbeyou” to raise awareness about the homelessness epidemic.
In June of 2017, Nadya was recognized by the Audre Lorde Foundation for her contributions to the LGBTQI community, after sitting on a tech and social impact panel alongside Robyn Exton, the founder of world-renown lesbian and bisexual dating app HER. Through her storytelling-based strategies, Nadya has successfully taken her clients’ social media reach from non-existent to in the thousands, landing them new customers, partnerships and revenue. Her purpose? To help her clients achieve their business goals while also making a difference in the world. Nadya grew up in Maryland and is a self-declared “Californian with East Coast roots.” When she’s not working, she can be found people watching while sipping the strongest espresso she can find. MORE
Arin Pitcher is a tech entrepreneur, coach, writer and producer. Arin is committed to creating new and innovative solutions to some of the world’s toughest challenges through the intersection of technology, personal development and storytelling. She studied Accounting at The University of Iowa and spent 4 years in management before co-founding Empact Labs, a mission-driven experiential creative agency specializing in cross-platform campaigns with an emphasis in Virtual and Augmented Reality, to propel social impact initiatives through the lens of strategic partnerships and experiential marketing. Currently, as Empact Labs Vice President, Arin's focus is on forging partnerships between major brands, radical innovators and thought leaders to generate solutions, awareness and collective action towards a more sustainable and harmonious future for all beings on Earth. To date Arin has worked on initiatives supporting regenerative agriculture, disaster relief and infrastructure, solar energy and environmental protection with clients and collaborators including Unify.org, Burners Without Borders, Permaculture Action Network, HTC, Google and USA Today. Presently Arin is working on a project to use Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality to eliminate the demand side of the supply chain within the illegal sex trafficking industry, which is an initiative she is excited to champion alongside the Women Like Us Foundation.
Additionally, Arin is extremely passionate about the evolution of human consciousness, personal development and spirituality as the platform to end suffering and restore balance to the planet. As such, she spends her free time working on passion projects for women's leadership & empowerment, sexual education and human transformation/liberation.
