On January 28, 2011 at 2:19pm (Uganda time) a 6.6lb baby girl was welcomed into the world at Shanti Uganda Birth House, the first Shanti baby!
Friends of Linawo Chapter Raise Money for New Home - October 2010
Friends of Linawo Chapter raised over $15,000 to help support Linawo's move to a new home in South Africa. The funds also provided money for a play structure, new beds, and equipment for organizing their indoor play area.

Women Like Us Foundation has been pleased to partner with Shanti Uganda in raising funds that helped open a birthing center in a rural area of Uganda, Africa.
