About the Co-Founders

Dr. Sally Brown Bassett, a social entrepreneur, philanthropist, world traveler, and yoga teacher, is president and co-founder of the Women Like Us Foundation, dedicated to inspiring and empowering women and girls to make a difference globally and locally.   After traveling to over 130 countries, this foundation has evolved with Sally’s desire to make more of an impact with sustainable global projects. Sally also enjoys mixing yoga when leading international retreats due to her studio, Peace through Yoga, started in 2003.

Linda Rendleman, M.S. is an award-winning writer, speaker and business woman. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Women Like Us Foundation and the President of Women Like Us, LLC. Linda is also the creator of the book, Women Like Us:  Real Stories and Strategies for Living Your Best Life, around which the speaker series was developed.  Linda brings her energetic message to women’s events across the nation. Her company, Business Women Connect has motivated and inspired women to be their very best since 2001.
