WLU Afternoon Tea and Speaker Series – April 15, 2010
Speakers:  Catt Sadler from E! Host of the Daily 10, Natalie Angell from Shanti Uganda, and Coach Lin Dunn from Indiana Fever.

WLU Linawo Children’s Home Chapter became a reality – December 2009
The Chapter’s goal is to support children in Cape Town, South Africa.  Over $12,500 was raised the first month.

Women Like Us Foundation released a Gift Catalog with the artwork designed by Nelson Mandela and Nancy Noel – December 2009

WLU NA Noel Preschool Chapter becomes Women Like Us’ Founding Chapter – November 2009
International Artist, Nancy Noel, supports a preschool in Kenya and hopes to get others involved in making a difference with the children there.

Costa Rica Humanitarian/Adventure Trip – November 2009
A Women Like Us Scholarship has been awarded to a high achiever student, Susan Lynn, from Manual High School in Indianapolis, IN.   Susan is a 4.0 student and in Spanish Level 5 class.

Women Like Us Afternoon Tea and Speaker Series- October 21, 2009

Women Like Us Foundation is organized and opens their offices at 49 South Elm St, Zionsville, IN  46077  – October 2009

Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota – June 2009
Women Like Us Scholarships were awarded to two high school girls from Starfish Initiative to participate on this humanitarian trip.

Women Like Us Afternoon Tea and Speaker Series Inaugural Event- March 17, 2009

Speakers:  Patricia Miller/President and Founder of Vera Bradley, Pam Faeber – President of Bee Windows, and Chick Big Crow – Executive Director of SuAnne Big Crow Boys and Girls Club on Sioux Indian Reservation.    Attended by 220 women.
